Had a cool day today at the cricket... Middlesex playing the Australians at Lords as part of the Aussie's warm up prior to their series against England.

You know, I spent two seasons at school playing this game. It was soon clear that I had absolutely no interest in the game, so they put me at - was it "silly mid off"? - and told me to throw the ball back to the bowler if it ever came my way. I waited two years for that damn' ball and then wandered off to do something constructive. And to this day I have no idea how - or why - cricket is played.
