Just got back from a weekend in the Cotswolds. Stopped off at Avebury stone circle on the way... been there about 6000 years - that's about 2000 years before the great pyramids in Egypt.

I must confess that Avebury didn't impress me much when I was there... somehow a bunch of stones standing in a field, however old, doesn't have same impact as the pyramids. :-) DancingDolphin · 2010-08-31: 19:15
