Probably one of the most easily recognised monuments in the world.... this is Stonehenge in Wiltshire, dating from around 3000 BCE.... or so.

One of the things I like about it is the fact that we don't know so much about it... we can surmise and postulate but we don't know and I like it when we smart-arsed humans don't know everything.
