You seem to be developing your own b/w style... are these HDR shots to start? The amount of in focus detail covering such a huge area gives it a poster/ drawing look. Of all that is going on, I'm drawn to the people on the bridge.... although like you, I wouldn't consider crossing it to be "fun"!

Nice eye lines. I'm one of the lucky foolhardy ones and don't suffer from vertigo. Oporto always struck me as a rather grim, dour city, unfortunately. I'm glad you got something out of it.

I wondered if this was the Iron Bridge at Telford from the thumbnail but I realise now that this is altogether more scary!

Walking on this bridge was one of the scariest things I've done... the rail didnt seen high enough, the wind was blowing a gale, and the traffic was thundering across at 300mph at what felt like 2 inches away from you... we needed the Port caves when we got to the other side to calm our nerves, and to build up the courage to cross back again...

I love the curves in the bridge, I imagine it is pretty scary to walk on. Perfect subject for b & w.
