Just shows how the light and the weather work together to make completely different images... and all I had to do was look out of the window. :-)

Yes, it looks almost as if the background is an elaborately painted stage backdrop behind the town. The clouded mountains contrasted with the darker, stoney foreground creates a rich 3-dimensional photograph.
