Guitar Landscape

Sometimes when I walk around my home town I come across the strangest things!

Thirty guitars, each 3 metres tall, have sprung up on the south bank of the Thames. They have been decorated by established artists and signed by musicians including: Gary Moore, Rod Stewart, Brian May, Paul Rodgers, Robert Plant, Mark Knopfler, Ozzy Osbourne, James Blunt, Hard-Fi, KT Tunstall, The Magic Numbers, Stereophonics and Kaiser Chiefs.

The exhibit will remain for ten weeks, then the guitars will be sold with the proceedings going to charity.

You will notice that all the guitars are in the shape of the Gibson Les Paul. I think one of the greatest exponents of that instrument is Jimmy Page: "Over the Hills and Far Away" - watch and marvel.
