All along the Galata Bridge (across the stretch of water known as the Golden Horn in Istanbul) there are guys fishing, day in, day out. It's quite a funky bridge with the road level on top and bars and restaurants beneath.
This picture looks across to the New Mosque - completed in 1663.... well I guess everything is relative :)
