This six-mound complex is considered one of the longest, continually occupied sites in Florida. For 1,600 years (200 B.C. -1400 A.D.), the 14-acre site was one of the most imposing prehistoric ceremonial centers on Florida's west coast. This high mound built around 600 A.D. supported a temple.
