This is three part of the lion dance show from late afternoon till evening time.
#1 - #4, warming up session for the team to cheer up the crowds. The team includes mostly teenagers, so at the earlier show besides they're showing the skills on the ground they also add in some mischievious acts. Just like in pic #4, I was
"attacked" by one of the lion dance.
#5 - #9, a veteran lion dancer climbs up a wooden pole about 16 feet in the air to perform the
"Cai Ching" show. You can see how great he is.
#10 - #20, the final lion dance show where two different colors lion dance performing on the metal poles. The yellow lion is the veteran one where they lead in front and show more actions than the red lion. Flash are
not allowed during this session so the picture is a bit dark.
The show goes smoothly without any circumstance. The lion dance team are one of the
top 10 in my country,
Malaysia.
