Southside community spirit

The US cellular field on the southside of Chicago is where the WHITE SOX play. When I first moved here, I could never remember which stadium was for which team. I know now that Wrigley field is for the Cubs, but the identity of Soldier field ...is still uncertain.

My first baseball game with a friendly crowd of Sox fans, peppered with the occasional Cubs fan. Amir, Brian and I settled in the Bullpen Bar on the ground level and had an intimate view of the field. I'm sure it is a cliche to say that the food is the best part of watching sports, but I am the definition of a living cliche. I think I alarmed the boys with my consistent and persistent consumption.

I'm still in the black and white phase that has been going on for the past seven months. I want to observe light before I tamper with color. Plus, it hides all blemishes, real and imagined.
