"Look, There's a House Fire!"

The owner was sitting on the opposite street corner, wrapped in a blanket that someone had given to him and was patting his dog's head, watching the house in flames.

The sky was a bright blue, but near the house when rescue arrived, it was completely smoke-filled.

You can barely see the two fire fighters standing on the smoking roof, trying to put out the flames at the rear of the house. What heroes!
|
When I was leaving the grocery store last week, someone said, "Look, that house is on fire!". The flames were going through the roof, but it was only smoke by the time I could get my car stopped across the street. I got there just as the emergency vehicles pulled up.

Oh my goodness - the poor man. Thankfully the fire department and a helpful neighbour were there to help comfort him. Excellent photos, Brenda! You really captured the sad event.

oh poor men hope his house is not too damaged and he did not loose too many pieces of furniture and electronics. anyway it is a nice set
