Our local education association has been honoring former students and teachers each year since 2004. In 2005, my husband Larry was selected for the "Hall of Honor", as a graduate of our high school who had contributed in a significant way to his community. His brother Robert gave his commendation speech.

Last night, Robert was the teacher honored for his contributions to the school and community - and Larry gave the commendation speech!

Both of these men have spent their entire careers working to better their home town, through their personal integrity and character, and their strong
Christian leadership. It made me proud to a Nelson!
