Three classes had their reunions together - 1964-1966 - mine was 1965

My fellow classmate and now well-known artist, Gil Adams from Tulsa, OK, gave me a painting of the old Boxley Baptist Church where Larry and I hike! I had "saved" a pen-and-ink of his from the trashcan in 1964 and he thought he "owed" me a newer one! I probably have the oldest known Adams in existence hanging on my wall!

Last weekend was my 45th high school class reunion! It's hard to believe that so many years have passed. We shared lots of laughter and old memories! Most of us are retired - or about to be - and we mainly bragged about our children and grandchildren. Life has been great for many and not so good for others. But we all joined together to celebrate and to honor those no longer with us. It made me proud to be a purple-and-white Fayetteville "Bulldog"!
(The florescent lighting was so dim, it was difficult to get a good shot, so the quality wasn't very good and I took very few shots. But I'm posting these to our class Facebook page, too. These on PB are for my photo folder of the 365 project!)

Looks like a lovely time with lots of warm, friendly people! So many memories....hard to believe how fast the years fly by. Great shots of these events for you and everyone involved!

Lovely get-together . Need to look up your artist friend has he a web site? His pen and ink must have been nice for you to save it from the rubbish. You are both "wearing well" I'd say the best of the bunch , don't tell the others I said that!!!!!
