TI - "MY LITTLE THESPIAN!"

2011.01.04
pixel
My grandson Isaac (Ike) was recently in a fifth-grade version of Shakespeare's "The Tempest", which was precious (and priceless)!!
pixel
I am so grateful that their school and their "gifted-and-talented" teacher, Mrs. Cathy Crouch, gives them such a/an "TI" to learn the classics!
pixel
Isaac was the jester, Trinculo, and couldn't have been more type-cast!
pixel
His best friend played Caliban, son of the witch
pixel
This was the best that "Nana" could do hand-held without flash, from a distance, but I thought it was kind of cool!
pixel
I'm also thankful that they had a/an "TI" to perform before their friends and families.

Thanks to his G-Dad Larry (lgnelson) for selecting this week's theme for you to guess!

Other who may be participating this week can be found here.

The Tuesday Inspiration” began in 2009 when two PB members - Helen and Stefan - started setting each other a challenge on a… Tuesday. Very soon afterwards, it was decided to open this up to other PB members, followed by the idea that we should not reveal what the subject is, so that other members could compare how different members view a single theme. The Tuesday Inspiration is not a contest or a challenge, but a group of people all agreeing to post their interpretation of a single theme on Tuesdays. Each week, one of the contributors sets the theme. There are now over 40 members contributing to the TI. We have only two “rules”: don’t include the subject in the TI title or tags and please comply with standard PB guidelines on courtesy, etc. If you would like to take part, please contact Helen (Girafferacing).

danrav What a great representation of TI. It certainly is a great TI in a day where little emphasis is placed on the classics. Great shots Brenda! You must be proud!

lookagain Super post....I love it!!!! Isaac made a very handsome jester!!! Mrs. Crouch - I can relate!! My elementary TAG students did a Shakespeare unit which included being special guests with "backstage passes" at the high school's production of "A Midsummer NIght's Dream." Good times :)))

GKorts That reminds me to my one and only role as Captain Bluntschli in Bernhard Shaw´s Heroes with the unforgettable TI to kiss a girl cora publico without being beaten for that :-)
GKorts · 2011-01-04: 12:04
