Georgia Aquarium - The World's Largest!

The aquarium was packed with families and school groups - and I couldn't resist this shot (although I rarely photograph someone else's child!)!

A pregnant male seahorse - yes, they carry the babies and nurture them!

The walk-through ocean tank had fish of every shape and size all around us!

The lionfish is one of the most exotic - and poisonous - creatures ever!

This is Trixie, a juvenile whale shark, who is only 16 feet long. Full-grown, she could reach 66 feet, and is one of the ocean's largest creatures! Thankfully, they are not aggressive, unless you're swimming in a school of krill!

Since it is NOT a fish, it's simply called a "jelly"!

The Georgia Aquarium is considered to be the top one on the world, because it is so enormous and so well planned. Loving the ocean's inhabitants as we do, Larry and I thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful day at this amazing facility!

These photos are not very good, since they were shot through finger-printed 6-inch plexiglass in low light. But, I wanted to post them because the creatures are so unusual and magnificent!

Oh, wow....what a magical place....a totally different world! Fantastic looks and great light and color, Brenda! I just LOVE #3....super shot!

These are wonderful, they give such a desire to visit this and see more. I love the first capture. It could be utilized for an advertisement for aquarium. Such a beautiful set.

Love the shot of the young boy with the diver. We can really pick the days for aquariums and zoos - the same days for field trips for the elementary schools!!! It's really been a lot of fun watching the children as they enjoy the experience!

fantastic colourful set Brenda! I love the shot with the child, and I wouldn't worry, since his face isn't showing, but I know what you mean, I am not comfortable taking shots of children I don't know either

Awesome! I think aquariums are one of my favorite places to take photos! The low light and thick glass just makes it take a little longer! Aren't the ray's magnificent? My son recently did a night dive with rays in Hawaii!
