The restaurant was once the stables and carriage house and you can still see that tables have been added in the former horse stalls

I had to get a vistor's pass to go inside this school and use their bathroom! And this one-eared tabby cat walked with us for awhile!

Our final stop on the walk was at the top of this hill, and when we started back down, it began to rain on us!

After almost two hours of walking up and down the streets, we had this final steep climb to get back to our car! That's my blue umbrella protecting my camera lens!

Hermann is an old German town that is the center for numerous wineries along the Missouri river. Larry and I arrived here in time for lunch and a stroll through the hills of the town. Our destination is St. Louis, about 90 miles from here.
I apologize for the length of the post, but there was a photo in every direction!

What wonderful colors and buildings Brenda. We visited a German town in September and loved it. These are all great photos. I know I'm not a professional and I have no place giving anyone advice so I really need to make it clear that what I am about to say is ONLY based on my preference not on anything like knowledge or expertise or anything like that.
I LOVE #8, but I would have cropped off the top even though it would mean cutting off the curve. I covered the white at the top with my hand and I just think it looks better that way.
Fabulous set , love the restaurant's style and I hope you took some more of the pumpkins outside beside the sign.
I really like how you managed to get a car passing in 11 the same colour as the foliage and the cat too in 12.
I can see why you wouldn't want to put your camera down for even a minute in this gorgeous place.....Wow....The fall colours are extraordinary and the landscape is picturesque indeed! Beautiful breathtaking scenery and that restaurant looks very inviting indeed. Thanks for sharing this place with us Brenda. Loved it!
An orange VW bug and an orange cat hmm! WOW such color. Are you driving or still on the trike? Hope you have gobs of memory cards?Don't get too dizzy turning in all directions.
