Marvelous Sights at Maramec Spring!

The well house

The top of this submerged grass made the little green petals on the water, which was full of fallen leaves

The wind was blowing so strongly, it was difficult to get a close-up with clarity!

This gorgeous frilly-frond tree is a bald cypress in all it's autumn glory!

This is the walking trail under the bluff at the back of the actual spring - you can see that the air was full of blowing leaves

This young woman had dropped this ring into the water over 2 months ago - and the level was finally low enough for her boyfriend to lean down and retrieve it!

Then they happily walked off, hand in hand!

When we came home from St. Louis, Missouri, our intention was to meet up with KarmanKWarner and husband Randy at Mamamec Springs, a state park that she has posted on several occasions. Things didn't work out for them to join us, so we went alone - and it was so fabulous in the fall! Hope you enjoy our afternoon!
We are leaving Thursday for a week-long trip with our children and grandkids for Thanksgiving. I may or may not be able to edit and post for awhile. But, I hope you all have a blessed T-giving and I'll see you in a week!

Fantastic set of shots. I can't decide which one I like best but it has to be between 1, 6, and 7. Added 1 and 5 to my favorites.

Autumn is installed at home! In the initial pictures, it seems to be in a Japanese garden! It's beautiful! Your excellent series!
