It was late afternoon when we went for a walk and I only had my point-and-shoot. But, it's usually too cold and windy for golf right now, although a few brave souls try it each day! I always think that the course is hybernating - and waiting for the first rays of spring to bring it back to life again. Right now, the only color is on the greens, and the zoysia has turned into the beautiful bronzes of winter.

There are 3 bodies of water and a stream on the course - some of the shallow ones partially frozen - and we have visiting ducks and geese this time of year.
