Chinese New Year - Balik Kampung!!

Early this year during the Chinese New Year celebration, we intended to go up north and visit my grandma's newly-old renovated house and I must say was it a damn good renovation. According to sources I've heard, the renovation is to invite more of the children, grand child and great grand child to visit her more often. Well I really hope I can make it for the Raya eve dinner this year!!

However, I missed all the New Year fireworks due to late travel :(
I really wanted to take the moments. And since I arrived late, it didn't stop us to make a pit stop to one of my favourite nasi kandar place @ kapitan keling (yahhhh...). However, I was a bit frustrated as the place was clean and when it's clean the taste just... lari!!! And since we arrived later, I didn't manage to scout around for some Lions dance!!! Arghhhhhhhhh!!! Sakitnya hati!!!

It was however a short trip though to Penang had to make a move on to Taiping the next day but was my son having a good time on the ferry on a bbbbbbiiiiiiiiiiiiiigggggggggg swimming pool according to him.
