The Bird Park Incident

2008.07.03
I Saw Something...
I just don't know why, I love to look up every where I go. This restaurant had previously (I think) been a power house - it's some left over of it. The bird park's restaurant is not that cheap but it's not that bad. Plus, you can see the birds coming and if eat outside they park right beside you. Don't feed them la.

Ewwooo, Got Extra Fruit??...

Spotted...

Daddy, Bird There Not Fish...
My son as ever being cheeky to check out what ever he wants.

Lunch Hour...
The main entrance offers these birds flying around in their big cage and my two sons will go crazee catching them.

Sneaking...
Although they roam free in their big cage, it's actually hard to get close to them.

Knock Knock, Who's There??...

Shaky Hands...

The Show Stealer...

Is It Just My Eyes??...
Look at their heads and cameras. Locate the bird! I must love my 6.5fps, it just kept moving.
A word of advise, don't go to a show if you intend to see something else.

Pit Stop...
Lucky for me I was at the left side of the stage where the bird of prey made his stop but unlucky for me I only had an 18-55.

Another Pit Stop...

You're Targeted...

The Final Show Long Leg Girls...

Ahhh Don't Bring Them Home...
These are my love ones as you know.
Word of advice, be the last customer and pay for their G9 full of noise printout and politely ask them to snap for you. They'll smack down the shutter about 20 times and then let you snap for your own shots. Thank you.

Heyya everyone. Weekend is tomorrow, can't wait to get my stamina/crititism back for weddings. How about you guys? This month and so goes next month (the glorious 888) is really jam packed with weddings!! Ahhh... I just love weddings and women in tight dresses!!!

Lurking to my journey brought my kids to the KL National Bird park somewhere in March. Having parents like us is a wonderful thing for our children as we love to go to places with animals and they just love animals especially Adam (he just want to bring the whole zoo back home if possible - it's always, Adam nak linonoseleous! Adam nak cat! Adam nak dog! with the sweet little cute "Pleaseeeeee..." haih.

To my suprise though, the ticket price were high sky than my previous visit late last year but I must confess, it was worth every cents (even though the rain stopped us from venturing further :-( )

The birds are having bigger cages and you can roam free with them - so near that both sons wanted to grab them home.

Oh personal tip, try to make it early so you can watch the bird show and then see how they feed the animals and around 4 - 5 hang around the big bird cage with a few tortoise (& parrots spotted in their own cages). Why hang there, well their keeper will come by bringing apples, carrots to the birds and he is more than happy to pass them to you and then the birds will come right on your hands to feed - feel like those Disney fairytale movies only... ha ha ha.

Dig.
