Well all good days has to come to an end. It was time to return back to the havoc life in the urban but before that, a quick breather at this old school tyre alignment shop which I like to stop before I return home and never got the chance to capture it.
The alignment was cheap indeed (only RM8 per pair) and the uncle specifically tells - "Kalau mau balancing, you pegi itu lain punya kedai tayar lepas tu you mai balik kita buat alignment" which states that the uncle only do tyre alignment and nothing else. Wifey thought it was a dying business but to her shock, after we left 3 other customers were waiting in line. I can't seem to wonder why people go to those expensive shops when their alignment are not accurate as these old schools and they last longer too! Even in racing, they do on the same old way... However, I have yet to find where the original old school shop. According to legend, they use only thread and a cigarette box. My current alignment shop does it too but according to them it is very time consuming but very long lasting (owh, they would also do it for me if they're not busy that is).
I really could believe the reactions of this uncle and his son. They were very cool and didn't even asked me if I were from any journalism crap or just plain shutter freak. They even stood aside waiting for me the clearly focus and hit the shutter before they move on to their next item. The process took about 5 minutes and wifey was schocked it took that fast. Driving home was really great and steady with the new tyres being aligned properly.
The next day onwards, I stayed behind baby sitting my boys at home and their colors really strucked me. They love having daddy around (even though their food intake is messy and keeping it tidy was secondary). We jumped in the pool everyday (as long as it wasn't raining) and we watched cartoons!
So goes my days with them... enjoy, indeed... tired, very... shouting, definately!!
