#1 is pure, out of time, dreamy magic. Truly superb shot, Danielle. Great portrait on #2 also.

Well..ive just had to go right ahead and fav #1...it really is a vision from a dream. I dont want to ruin it by trying to understand why I like it and just accept the fact that it evokes a certain feeling of joy and fantasy within me. As for the portrait..it has such lovely tones. Your so versatile....

#1 is a fave. and a bit of a departure for you -- mais, non? i'm guessing an orton-like effect, at least two layers?? BRAVO!

Excellent - I love the feeling of dizzy motion in #1

Those swinging out from the carousel are in focus, yet still have a dreamy quality. Well done! It's a shame that the horizontal landscape photos don't enlarge enough, but I peered closely to look at your detail. Love the tones of this -- perfect for memories.

My favorite is #1 too. Nostalgia, like Emma said. There is a bit of abandon to it in the way you caught the swings. And the sky is spectacular.

I love the first shot. Very vintage looking, like something from the turn of the century world's fair. Very cool.
