dolphin

Went on vacation to Dominican Republic this past week. Didn't deal much with actual Dominican people, but did drink a lot of beer at our all-inclusive resort.

One thing that was included was a trip to the unoriginally-named Ocean World, a small zoo/aquarium/water park which makes most of its money from tourists overpaying to swim with dolphins, then overpaying again for photos of said swim. Fortunately, they're cool with other people taking photos, so I have tons of pictures of dolphins. Most are pretty crappy, you don't exactly have time to set up a shot when they decide to jump out of the water. Fortunately, they are pretty friendly and will come over for attention and jump around the pier where I was standing. I basically just set my aperture and white balance and then just went nuts on the shutter.

I wanted to post a whole bunch of pics at once but I am eager to post anything at all since I haven't had internet access for over a week.
