"Mind Your Own Beeswax" - My First Attempt To Macro

2007.07.09

Trying to keep myself busy here after breaking our dining table with a barbel. :(

Anyway, going back to the photo, I just realized that the EF 24-105 L IS 4.0L is not good enough for this type of shot. I should have used a longer range prime with a hollow lens extender to really blur the background.

Too bad I can't buy a specialty macro lens yet.. I have to save up to buy a replacement dining table. Yeah, my bad.

MidsummerSilence nice macro work!!! the DOF is amazing! how the two objects so far apart are both in focus... amazing.

doidefiesta Thanks MidsummerSilence! That's because this was cropped to 1:1 ratio and were only approximately two inches apart.

The cam's auto AF also is capable of having scattered focal points.
