Like most young amateur enthusiasts in the third world, I am practicing on a medium range DSLR -- the Canon EOS 30D.

I currently have 3 lenses:

(1) EF 24-105mm 4.0L IS USM - My favorite street zoom
(2) EF 50mm 1.8 - For portraits
(3) EF 55-200mm 4.5 USM - My cheapie zoom.

I also use a Speedlite 430EX when autofocus needs help.

My wishlist includes:

(1) EF 70-200mm 2.8L IS USM - To replace my cheapie,
(2) EF 16-35mm 2.8L USM - For future wide angle shots, and
(3) an L Series Macro Lens.

I am investing in EF line of lenses since part of my plan is to upgrade to a full frame sensor.

I'm loving the artistic and the technological aspects of photography including post processing of RAW images.

My Software of choice includes:

Adobe Photoshop CS3 and Photomatix Pro 2.5.

I am not a pro so I would love to hear your comments on how my experiments are coming along.

I shall label my shots: "The Doisterboy Experiment"
