Macau

2008.10.08
At the employees cafeteria at Starworld Hotel.

Behind me is the most famous casino in Macau.

With co-cameramen...

I really look grumpy in this photo... I don't like my outfit! This is outside the Grand Lisboa Hotel.

Guess who's this?

At the Senado Square

Inside an elevator in Starworld Hotel. The elevator has a large LCD tv inside, it also fits 25 people. It's huge!

Macau at night... That odd looking building is the Grand Lisboa Hotel.

Macau is a small territory that's why most locals use motorcycles to get around.

MGM Grand! (Pretending I've been to Las Vegas!)

At the lobby of starworld hotel where filipino musicians are entertaining the guests... I also have my instrument, a camera!

With co-workers partying after the success of the event!

Pennyless in Macau

Senado Square again.

ST Paul's Cathedral!

Taegukgi! No, I'm not Korean but a Filipino from the Philippines!

Lobby of starworld hotel... In the tarpaulins is the event my company is covering.

Tired, after working all day and night...

With my co-workers inside the largest hotel in the world and the 3rd largest building in the world, the Venetian Macau!

Co-workers again

With Thailander Jing, working at Starworld hotel.

Stayed in this vibrant city for 9 days because of work. This "Gambling Capital of Asia" had been a Portuguese colony before. Ironic it may seem that most of their signages is in Portuguese (like their ubiquitous exit signs that read "Saida.") but no one speaks it; I never heard anyone speak Portuguese. Maybe they do that for tourism purposes or for the preservation of their history which is really unique. Too bad I had little time to roam around... Anyway, they really got very good architecture. It's oddly similar to Intramuros (in Manila) but with a different twist that's hard to explain.

I tried to look for beggars in this lavish city and found three. Will post the photos later. hehe...
