I bought myself a new bike around 2 months ago. I had to buy a gel seat cover as the seat was unbelievably uncomfortable before I could even use it.
Then I had to take the bike out just for a few minutes each day as it has been around 35 years since I last rode one...and I was actually a bit scared!
Finally, I plucked up the courage to go for a proper ride and rode 10 minutes away from home till I got to Enfield Lock on the River Lea. I rode another 15 minutes along the bank of the River Lea and took these photo along the way, just as the sun was starting to lower itself down - probably on its way to Australia!
Autumn, Barges, Sun, Water...perfect combinations. Wouldn't you agree?
