I just had to...

Working on my repeating patterns...

This is the head of a full-bodied, life-size statue of Magdalena Fredericks, wife of Fred Woehrle, died Oct 8, 1901, aged 75 years.

I thought the lion was interesting with the snow hat...

The bright gold and red against the sharp black really caught my eye.

I thought this was great:
My Son Ricky,
May you dance in our hearts forever.

Here's Ricky...

Now this looks like a guy who knows how to party!

Try to do more landscape to add variety to the closeups.

But on the statue above, there was this carving... Could have composed it better.

I just couldn't cut this one from today's post. The combination of the pillar with the name "bolted" to it, along with the statue (Mary?) is very unique.

i thought this little pavilion was serene, nestled among the trees.

A fresh grave awaiting a resident...

The red bow on the mausoleum really caught my eye across the grounds.

[16 photos] According to the book "Cleveland By Foot", "Riverside Cemetery is a 90-acre oasis of serene beauty in the midst of city and freeway traffic and nearby steel mills." Even covered in a fresh blanket of snow, it was easy to see that this cemetery is well maintained, which is a sharp contrast to the others I have photographed this year.
