After the long trip out here, we were eager to head down to the pool and beach for some relaxation. The food here has "ballpark pricing", i.e. the portions are big, but so are the prices.
We were supposed to spend today at Pearl Harbor, but by the time we realized we had vouchers that we needed to trade in for tickets last night, the ticket office had closed.
Instead we spent most of the day chilling in and by the family pool and hot tubs. At one point we ventured over to Waikiki Beach to swim in the ocean. While in the ocean, Stephanie spotted a shadow under the water coming towards us. As we backpedaled toward the shore, we saw a huge sea turtle poke its head above the surface. What a thrill!
Once the sun went down, we headed over to the International Market Place to pick up some souvenirs.
