Next, the Byodo-In Buddhist Temple. We wish we could have spent several hours here!
"An offering and ringing of this sacred bell brings happiness, the blessings of Buddha, and a long life to the ringer of the bell. It is customarily rung before one enters the temple to spread the eternal teachings of Buddha."

Today, we joined Steve and Mary on a bus tour of Oahu.
Our first stop was the Dole Pineapple Plantation (try the Dole Whip!), second was a beach on the north shore, third was the Polynesian Cultural Center, followed by a macadamia nut farm outlet, the Byodo-In Buddhist temple, and lastly a stop a the Pali Lookout.
What a day!

Great set...nice place...looks like a must visit :)
The temple is fantastic, the composition is perfect but I love all the fog along the mountain peaks and the temple being red against the green is great. Congrats.
