Never A Dull Day At Work Part Deux

We had a rabid skunk wandering around the parking lot behind work today. We don't have an animal control officer in our small town, and the dog catcher is on medical leave because of surgery. So who do you call? The sheriff, of course.

First they were going to use the shotgun, but the skunk was too close to the retaining all and they didn't want to damage the wall. So, they bring out the Glock .40. They then shot the skunk not once, not twice, but seven times. And the thing was still trying to get up.

One piece of advice, though, if someone is going to be firing a pistol outside of your office in the middle of the day, you should probably warn people. Because we had several customers get a little nervous when they heard the shots.

It has now, however, passed on to the big stinky place in the sky. Farewell, Flower, I barely knew thee.
