Digital Editing Challenge 1

This is my version of the tree image for "Digital Editing Challenge 1". I've played with the colours and added some textures and a boarder, as well as a branch with two Crows sitting on it. So I'm calling this version "Two Crows". The original image is below:

Abut the Digital Editing Challenge: This was inspired by my Photoblog post for December 18, 2007. The idea is that every Friday (more or less) I will make an image available to those who want to play along. Do whatever you like to the image-- subtle tweak or over-the-top Photoshop madness-- anything is permissible. Then we post our results on the following Monday.

This is not a competition, there are no prizes. It's just for fun and it;s interesting to see what different people do with the same image. Watch the Digital Photography thread in the Forum for Digital Editing Challenge 2.

wonderful! you have kept a lot of detail on this picture such many branches and original color.
and the two crows is a very interesting idea!!

First, thanks a lot for starting all this, Ed. I had a lot of fun doing it.

I really love what you came up with. The frame you did matches so well with the effect you created. I love the light in it. And the crows addition is superb. Very well done.
