Crystal Arrows

I have always enjoyed abstract images. I paint abstract paintings and quite often I do extreme edits of photos of rather ordinary objects and scenes to create abstract images. But this is an example of one of my most favourite categories of images: I call them "unaltered abstracts". Usually they are macros or close-up shots of objects that make it difficult, at least at first glance, to tell what they are. They have not been digitally edited beyond the usual cropping and maybe tonal adjustments.
