After walking thorough the suburbs of Zagreb for about an hour, I could see my destination, Medvedgrad, up on the mountain ahead.
|
The Church at Sestine. You can still see Medvedgrad in the distance.

There is a graveyard behind the church.

The trail up is an easy path, but it can get rather steep in some places.
|
The trail follows a stream.
|
There are many of these miniature waterfalls as the stream makes it's way down the mountain.
|

A patch of sunlight was falling on these mossy tree roots making them almost glow with colour.

I finally arrived at the fort.
