Day 301 of 365 - Soup Day

I always love when fall arrives and the temperatures cool, one big reason is soup. I know that for most people they think of soup as something you get out of a can, but not so in our house. Soup in our house means the most delicious, hot and hearty meals made from the most savory ingredients. It means that for days the house smells so good you want to eat the furniture. So, as the temperatures cooled last night my wife was scheming and today she kicked into high gear on the soup construction. Right now the house smells amazing! I wish I could bottle it and share it with you all. I grabbed my camera and took a quick shot of the source of all this delicious aroma, it’s my wife’s tortellini soup bubbling away in one of her pots. Now it is still lacking the spinach and tortellini, but oh man it is something special.

So, here is to the wonderful and delicious education I have received from my wife that soup IS NOT something from a can.
