ok, here is why i find this picture funny: this is a side entrance door of the old main church in melakka, a catholic remnant of the portughese colonialists in malaysia, which was then and now is a muslim country by majority. melakka is mighty proud of it's main tourist attraction, which is why the place around this church is full of vendors for souveniers, ice cream, etc. there is a whole vendor line alongside the church, and of of them placed his ice cream advertisment right in front of the church door, since it's obviously not used for entriy/exit. the cone looks roughly shaped like a human figure, so if you don't have the context, it looks like it's about to enter the church or has just left. the church building inside is well known to be a cooler place then hot, hot melakka square; and the bright red color of the building almost looks eatable. i know, i know... it's all a bit a twisted joke and i apologize for being a spoilsport in explaining the punch line(s) of this picture... but it's pretty, isn't it? ;-)
