no difference between nature and culture ? how so? culture is nature, nature is culture? i know you are saying something smart as always.

well, thanks for your trust but... uhmm... maybe it's not so smart this time. a "bagger" is an earthmover in german and this are it's claws which were just lying on the grass there, half in shadow. i was intrigued by how "naturelike" its rusted and scratched surface looked like... and how "organic" that thing looks on the similar organic ground. this made me make my bold statement - but in a very abstract way, it also holds in a wider sense: the earthmover's claw is made of iron, mostly, which is pure nature (our earth's core is completely made of it) and the process of rusting brings it into it's "natural" state (oxygenated)... while the grass is actually a planted green which wouldn't grow there naturally by itself, unless somebody cultivated it... ;-) but i admit, that's a bit a sophistic explanation.

thanks fot the explenation because i was thinking a little to far now, just with the title of course, nice pic even I prefer Nature, it seams as it you are going to brake some natural thing, if you only see the pic and read the the first text.

i've just spent last weekend seeking out old decrepit, rotting, rusting, abandoned buildings, vehicles, tombstones, etc. & began to see culture blending into nature. or it could be nature & its elements taking over left behind culture, but the difference between nature & culture will always be there.

I always wanted to see a real live dinosaur. You're so lucky! this is gorgeous. the 'toes'! the rust and colours. excellent capture, and the words underneath deepen it for me. 'bagger' doesn't add anything for me. I don't know what would. maybe 'titan'
