We were lucky enough to see this beauty a couple of times during our visit to Jejane
|
Almost regal.
|
One day we watched him watching a herd of impala. We were so lucky as he slunk down and disappeared into the long grass. Suddenly we heard the impala give their alarm call and stampede with our cheetah hot on the heels of one impala. The speed was unbelievable. They raced into a clear,open piece of land behind the dam. The lucky impala got away and he was exhausted.

Just before he flopped down for an afternoon snooze.

Wow how exciting... it is always very difficult to know who to cheer on in these situations... You got some amazing shots though... lucky you!
