How do i get that photo??? / Como M Tomo la foto que quiero?

2007.11.18
a jean in "light motion"

a brown jacket in "light motion"

a light in motion jijij ;))))

Well, my experiments werent succesfull. i dont know how to recreate the light to made this efects, this photos are from yesterday post, croped just show what i wanted to do.... but still dont have a clue of how to manage light

i know its a long exposure technique, but in the originals the light was there, when i try to recreat it at home i dont have the results i want.

i tried with all kinds of lights, strong ones, soft ones...but no results.

Originals were shoot at 2.5s time, 2.8f +1pt "overexposure" (sobre exposicion)

Suggestions ???????

the last one its not related with my experiments, but like it anaway.

Sugerencias ?????????

cmiper Greetings! Does your camera have A, S, or M mode? Depending on if you are shooting day or night for the effect, it can be had a few different ways. If you can give me a situation you'd like to create the effect in, I can give you some ideas.

The basic way would be to shoot in M mode with a shutter speed close to 1 second and the lowest ISO you can set. If you are in a dark situation, you may be able to use an wider (lower #) fstop, but if daylight, you would need to use a smaller (higher #) fstop to cut out some of the extra light. The key is that you want to set the amount of time that the exposure is to be, after that it is making everything else work with that time frame.
