What gorgeous girls you all are!! *As far as the camera goes... I've been studying my next Canon. I always thought I'd go for the 5D over the 40D so I don't know what to tell you. Make sure you read reviews on a bunch of them first. I regret getting the 18-55mm kit lens with my Canon Rebel (even tho I used it a lot in the beginning). Unless it's the 18-55 IS, I wouldn't get it if I were starting over. Same with the 75-300. If I would've bought the 75-300mm, it would've been completely obsolete for me in the next couple months when I decided that I HAD to have the 70-300 IS for some of my sports/action shots. This is all just my personal opinion and you should do lots of reading and asking around for all kinds of opinions. Good Luck!
