Last Sunday, we started our day by attending to NIKAI's need to be cleaned and vacuumed. Farhan was busy looking for quarters from the coin bag.

Farhan's task was to monitor the remaining minutes and keep inserting the quarters...

... till D was done with vacuuming the entire car.

Farhan loves helping out his Daddy doing big guy stuff. Heh!

We headed to Farhan's school after that to capture his school picture for his graduation project. He wrote that poem by himself and I love his analogy :).
He glued this picture on a Basswood round plank which we purchased from JoAnn. He decorated his plaque with pine cones and one dried leaf. It was pretty but I forgot to take picture! |
Since Kak Deng has been promoting Washtenaw Dairy ice-cream when we had picnic at Gallup Park last sunday, we wanted to give it a try. Yeah... there was no written sign of Washtenaw Dairy at all. We just recalled it's located on Ashley and Madison Street.

Believe it or not, that was only two scoops! What a giant scoop they served. Hahah! It was way cheaper than BR.

I didn't know that this place was really happening with lots of people coming in and out from the store. I guess if you live in Ann Arbor, you must know this ice-cream place.

I just ate a quarter scoop from D's scoop. Hee... I somehow can't eat a lot of ice-cream. Too cold for my throat!

After he was done with his project, we brought Farhan fishing at Gallup and this time D scored BIG when we were about to leave.

We were all so excited as the boys normally catch the small fishes like sunfish or bluegill at Gallup.
|
But this time D caught a 16-inch Largemouth Bass. Woohoo! It ended as ikan bakar the next day.

This Rock Bass was what Farhan got the day before when we were busy eating with the other Malaysians at Gallup. But, he released the fish as it was way smaller than what was stated in the guidelines.
