Farhan's graduation

2009.06.12
Farhan's graduation from Angell Elementary School was held at New Life Church Auditorium.

D persuaded Sarah to attend despite her feeling 'zombie' as she just got back from her Washington DC trip at midnight.

I love this art piece of the kids' hand prints. Please find Farhan's!

They walked in to the auditorium beautifully in pairs while Ms Ryan played Pomp and Circumstance by Edward Elgar.

The kids sang A Voice from a Dream by Joyce Elders.

The principal, Mrs Jackson welcomed all of us.

Our big guy who will be going to middle school this Fall.

We were all surprised when Farhan's graduation project was chosen by his teacher, Mr Yaeger as the BEST in his class. Hence, he was called to present his work during this graduation ceremony. Wow, congrats Farhan! We were all so proud of you.

D did not manage to snap a nice photo when Farhan received his diploma. So, I'm waiting for digital image from school to be uploaded here later on.

They walked out in pairs again, Farhan with Jane.

Piano accompaniments by Ms Ryan, Angell School Music Teacher.

We then joined the reception in front of Angell school.

Everyone was complimenting Farhan's speech and his 'Memory' poem. Great job!

Congratulations Angell School Class of 2009!

It was impossible to take family picture with Farhan as he was running around with his friends. That's his best buddy, Khaludi!

Hey, what were you guys watching?

A nice candid shot by D!

Oh no wonder they were looking up in the sky!

Can you locate Farhan on this cake? :P

Many thanks to Farhan's music teacher, Ms Ryan, for her hard work and dedication. Farhan came to Angell with zero knowledge and skill in playing violin. He has achieved so much after only a year!

His best buddy and favorite teacher, Mr Yaeger, who shared many common interests like nature, science and animals.

I was busy chatting with our Northwood buddies. Heh!

All of us will soon be leaving Northwood to our separate destinations.

Farhan's Japanese neighbor and good friend Takuto.

They were all in blue shirts. What a coincidence!

The only picture with his Daddy!

With Takuto's mom

With Lisa, Khaludi's mom. Khaludi wanted to follow Farhan to their graduation party at one of their schoolmates, Jane.

Ibrahim also followed us back so that they all could go to Jane's party together.

Farhan was so tan after their outing to Fuller pool yesterday.

They all had so much fun at Jane's graduation party. Many thanks to Peterson family.
