Even though it was our first night of tenting for this trip, we slept well. Alhamdulillah.

Since we were already here, we just wanted to do a brief tour around the capital city of North Dakota, Bismarck.

It's just a small town.

D went to PO to mail Farhan's postcard to his friend.

We were so tempted to lie down on this beautiful green grass.

Not far from the capitol, there's Sakakawea statue. Sakakawea was a significant name as part of Lewis and Clark expedition.

Carrying her infant son with her, she went on the expedition to help Lewis and Clark negotiate with the Indians. Spelling of her name has been the subject of debate, other common spellings are Sacagawea and Sacajawea.

We hit the road again on I-94 West to Billings, Montana. Btw, I-94 stretches from Detroit to Billings.

As I mentioned earlier on, we kept on gaining one hour as we were heading west. Yay!

We decided to make a brief stop here at Teddy Roosevelt National Park.

The Badlands? Well, we have see enough Badlands when we visited Badlands National Park in South Dakota last summer.

We just spent about half an hour there...

...to snap few pictures and bought lil souvenirs.
