I think this proves my point - hdr when used on landscapes should be applied in a naturalistic way to preserve the essence of the picture. I think this works very well - what you see is a beautiful scene with slightly "enhanced" light; you don't just see a bunch of special effects. I like this a lot.
Always fun to see the two versions. Some times I can't even imagine the days of not having all these editing options and how many photos I just pitched as 'not good'. Now half the fun is in the processing!
