I went to a gig of Room 4 A Pony again, and again I've made some photographs. During the gig the circumstances were quite hard: little spots were the only light, which results in a lot of noise on the photographs. Although I don't want to use these circumstances as an excuses, it's the sad reality. The photos you see here were made outside, after the gig because they wanted some photos without mic or other instruments ... These aren't also what they should be, but I think I maybe can learn from your comments on these pictures.
What can help me reducing the noise on the pictures in circumstances like described? (I don't have a extra flash-unit beside the standard on the body itself (Nikon D50).
Thanks a lot!

I prefer nr 4 and 5. Too bad the last photo isn't focused on his face. Nice job in 5 though.
I must say I'm dissapointed. They look like normal party-pics, turned B&W, though the B&W is better than the average you find on Facebook, etc.
Taking a second look, though, I like them more, but I still get that feeling.
Taking a third look, I'm not sure anymore. Maybe... I think I would like them more without the built-in flash (I hate them, therefore I never use flash >.<) Hm, tricky...
To remove the noise I'd say you should reduce the ISO - the lower the clearer. However, this takes longer shutter times, so in this case it's quite hard. Unless you use a flash, which you don't have. Otherwise I guess you can rescue some of it in Photoshop, though that's a little cheating.
