A little explanation: there are an increasing number of initiatives to occupy our empty high street premises with projects and activity instead of watching them decay. The benefits are obvious, regeneration is more likely to happen if an area doesn't look totally derelict. These "meantime" projects are run on a shoestring but good things come of them.
