Great Crested Grebe ................ Fuut .... in Dutch

with my 300mm i just got a bit closer to this Grebe

just love the sparkle in the water

amazing to see how they can lift themselves out of the water like that

but not close enough to post this one without cropping, it was great seeing this one suddenly commung up with that big fish, and having trouble swallowing it, just a pitty i couldn't zoom in more, as i have lots of shots from this action, but a bit to far off :-(

Caught him taking a bath did ya??! He's a beauty! I love his little tuft and his partially reddish head... nice work!

Great shots of the Grebe.. Keep an eye on these Grebe critters and you will be amazed at their mating dance. Hope you get an opportunity to photograph the mating dance it is a sight to see!
