1 year on PB

Well a year ago Sandra invited me here to PB thinking my shots were worth posting here (guess i can call her my first fan haha) I wasn't all that sure about that, as i only think of my shots as "simple shots" but decided to accept her invitation anyway. And today, one year later i have many wonderful, hart warming friends here, and i wish to thank you ALL for ALL the wonderful support and comments you have given me in the past 365 days. Much has happened in that time, and often i have tried to put my feelings and thoughts in my shots, but you all supported me and helped me carry on.......THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!!! it is an honour to have YOU all as my friends here at photoblog!!!
I've tried to shoot different things, and still don't really know which way to go with my work, but i'll never let go of my b/w's. So i guess you'll have to wait and see what i'll come up with in the future:-)
and a TUNE off course :-)
Thinking of titles for these shots, Hmmmmm lets see,
a break..........how about that for originality........ duuuh ;-)

Also i would like to congratulate Sandra (RYANA) on her first PB birthday too, as we arrived here the same day :-)) And i really hope we can all enjoy her fantastic and creative work for a long time to come!!

Sorry for not being around as much any more since i have my new job, as it doesn't leave me with lot's of free time, but i'm doing my best to come and comment (and in some cases "spam" your blogs) as and when i have time.

WoooHooo!!! Happy anniversary Peter!!! It's been great getting to know you a little here, always enjoyed you posts :-)) Now...what demands can we make of you over the next year?...Hmmmm Well we expect lots of new arts for Our Sunday Gallery for a start :-) an we want lots of good music on your posts and we would like you to post more feathers and always more BW's an we expect some amazing colour shots too....then there's all the gritty emotional stuff, yes we want loads more of that...and you said you'd do some light drawings...then there's the photoshop work that you started but never followed through....oh yes humour we demand lots more humour of you Peter. Fireworks!! I seem to remember you doing some great fireworks...yes generally more celebrations we really liked that, and the wildlife photos you made some good bird shots I think you develope much more of them, and...hey, is that enough to keep you here for another year yet? Oh yeah, the drinks are on you :-))

Congratulations, Peter! The best part of PB is that not only are YOU enjoying yourself, but WE are all beneficiaries as well! Your enthusiasm and honesty are qualities that make you an exceptional "friend". OH... and this set of photos... I agree that one can never go wrong with b/w's! I love the first shot in particular: an unusual perspective and nice tonal range!

CONGRATS Peter on your 1 year anniversary!!!!!!!!! I have been so busy with work too...so I definitely understand not having as much time on PB. I absolutely LOVE your b/w's...you inspire me to do more with my shots and because of you I post my own b/w's and for that I am thankful!!! This set is EXCELLENT...#1 great perspective...#2 perfect lighting...and the rest of them are wonderful. BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!
