Its been a while since I have posted, so I was hanging out in the back yard today looking for something to shoot. I came up with a couple crow shots, this one is diving down from the fence to grab a peanut. Its not in focus, its not cropped right, its not really even good...I just kind of like it.

Eric, this shot is fantastic, well done :) I love shots that break all the technical rules - you can't learn movement like this. It's really very intricate - the colour and the progression of dark to light of the wood, the slight off-centre of the bird - this has got to be a favourite image for me :) If I'm not wrong, I think you may have surprised yourself with this one :) Peche · 2009-02-27: 00:13

I really like it...I spend so much effort on getting my subjects sharply *in* focus that I usually forget to think about alternatives. This is a great reminder! The blue really pops against the brown fence...though the green at the top is a little distracting :-) There's enough detail in the shape that you still know what it is, and the motion blur makes it look like a painting. msimpson · 2009-02-27: 22:02
