Bugs from the Garden

2007.05.18
They were everywhere

I only saw a few flies

This spider had such pretty colors

I took these photos yesterday at the Botanical Gardens. There were hordes of the red nymphs and many damselflies. The damselfly pictures were blurry. There were many black-winged dragonflies with metallic green chiten, but they refused to stay still. There were also many anoles puffing out their red throat pouches. I'll put up pictures of them tomorrow.

1) The fly is a house fly.
2) The red bug is probably a Leaf-Footed Bug nymph (Family: Coreidae, Genus: Acanthcephala).
3) The green glassy spider is probably a Basilica Spider (Mecynogea lemiscata)
